A Caltrain app for iPhone.

Live train positions, departures between two stations, arrival alarms and service alerts.

What it does

• Live train positions — every train in service on a map, updated from the 511.org feed.
• Departures between two stations — the whole service day, with express, limited and local marked.
• Which train is at your platform — trains standing at or approaching your station.
• Leave-now reminders — a notification a set number of minutes before departure, adjusted for delay.
• Arrival alarm — an alarm before your stop, and a reminder to tag off Clipper.
• Service alerts — Caltrain's alerts for your stations and your train.
• Rider reports — riders report a broken toilet, a full bike car or no air conditioning.
• Share a ride — a link that shows whoever is meeting you where the train is.
• Ride history — every ride you confirm, stored on the device.

Data and privacy

• Schedule and real-time data come from 511.org.
• Ride history is stored on the device and is not uploaded.
• Location is off by default and can be left off; the app works from the timetable.
• Shared links follow the train, not the person, and expire after six hours.
